7 Arrested for Stealing at Walmart in Arnold

The following information was supplied by the Arnold Police Department for the period ending May 5. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Monday, April 29

A license plate was reported stolen from a Dodge Caravan while it parked behind Kohl’s.

  • An 18-year-old Imperial woman was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart at 2201 Michigan Ave. She was booked, processed and released on summons.
  • Walmart store security apprehended two juveniles for stealing candy. Both the teens were taken into custody and later released to their parents.
  • A 33-year-old Cedar Hill man was arrested for stealing a coffee maker from Walmart. The man, who had multiple convictions for stealing, was booked, processed and later released pending arrest warrant.

Wednesday, May 1

  • An employee at Zingers at 1502 Jeffco Blvd. told police that a black GMC with Illinois license plates left without paying for $83 in gas. 
  • License plates were reported stolen from a vehicle on Meramec Valley.
  • The front license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle on Old Lemay Ferry Road.
  • A 21-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for stealing $44.27 in tanning products from Walmart. She was booked and released on a summons.
  • A 26-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for stealing $54 in clothing and food from Walmart. She booked and released on summons.

  • A 30-year-old St. Louis County man attempted to return merchandise which he had stolen from Walmart with a receipt he had found in the parking lot in the amount of $47.12. He was booked and released on a summons.

Friday, May 3

  • A 67-year-old Desoto man was arrested for stealing $44 in groceries from Schnuck's at 3900 Vogel Rd. He was booked, processed and released on a summons.
  • An employee at Circle K at 2046 Keywest reported that a Dodge Intrepid left the gas station without paying for $48 in fuel.

Saturday, May 4

  • A 23-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for stealing $193 in merchandise from Walmart. She was booked, processed and released on a summons.
