While a few more businesses are expected to register for the event in the coming days, there may still be a few slots available for Arnold and Jefferson County businesses eligible to participate in Arnold's first farmers' market.

As reported in an earlier ArnoldPatch article, the 2012 Arnold Farmers’ Market will last for 25 weeks beginning on May 5. The markets will open at 8 a.m. and close at 12 p.m. The market will occur every following Saturday until Oct. 27.

Counts has said, in prior city council meetings, that Arnold is perfectly located between St. Louis County’s urban dwellers, who want fresh fruits and vegetables, and Jefferson County farmers.
