Arnold Police Arrest 4 for DWI, 2 for Drugs

Six people were taken into custody for DWI or drug and/or paraphernalia possession on Nov. 9 and 10. Two of the DWI arrests were a result of citizens reporting the intoxicated drivers.

 

Saturday, Nov. 10

A 54-year-old High Ridge man was arrested for DWI at 3900 Vogel Rd. after he was reported as an intoxicated driver. He later submitted to a breath test resulting in a .199% BAC. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver.

Friday, Nov. 9

  • A 47-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for DWI after she was stopped at 1959 Richardson Rd. due to a citizen’s report of an intoxicated driver. She later submitted to a breath test resulting in a .234% BAC. Following booking, she was released to a sober driver.
  • A 32-year-old Imperial woman was arrested at Kohl's for shoplifting and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after store security followed her to Arnold Commons. Following booking, she was released on summons.
  • A 22-year-old Arnold man was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at Richardson Road and Briarwood Manor. He later refused to submit to a breath test. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver.
  • A 21-year-old Arnold man was arrested for DWI after he was stopped for a traffic violation at Jeffco and Dohack. He later submitted to a breath test resulting in a .158% BAC. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver.
  • Officers were called to Walmart at 2201 Michigan Ave. store for a theft in progress. A 29-year-old Desoto man ran from the store on foot, crossed Interstate 55 and was found in back of PetSmart. The man was in possession of stolen property valued at $200 and drug paraphernalia. He was also wanted by the DeSoto Police Department. The man was booked and held on bond for theft charges and wanted charges by DeSoto police. A 29-year-old DeSoto woman was also detained for the Walmart theft, and she provided false information. She was booked and released on a summons.
