Arnold Will Honor 9/11 Heroes on Sept. 11
The city will conduct a memorial service at the Arnold Rec Center's Memorial Garden.
The City of Arnold is inviting the public to attend a memorial service on Sept. 11 at 8:15 a.m. The ceremony will have representatives from the Arnold Police Department, Rock Community Fire District and the Rock Township Ambulance District.
Mayor Ronald Counts and other elected officials will be in attendance.
Following the service, all first responders will be provided a free breakfast at the recreation center.
The ceremony will take place outside the rec center's front doors in the Memorial Garden that was constructed last year. The garden has the only piece of steel from the World Trade Center that was given to a Missouri city for display.
