Car Crash Injures Two Arnold Men on Highway 141 at Butler Court

Gary Gerrein and Richard Terrell had not been wearing seat belts when Mark Politte of DeSoto turned into their path.

Two Arnold men sustained moderate injuries Wednesday when a car turned into their path as they traveled north on Highway 141 at Butler Court, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported. They were not wearing seat belts.

It happened at about 12:30 p.m. when Mark Politte, 55, of DeSoto tried to turn left onto Butler Court from southbound Highway 141. He turned into the path of driver Gary Gerrein, 40, and passenger Richard Terrell, 45, who had been traveling north on the highway.

A Rock Township Ambulance took Gerrein and Terrell to St. Anthony's Medical Center. Politte had been wearing a seat belt and also sustained moderate injuries. An ambulance took him to SSM St. Clare Health Center.

The 1997 Pontiac Bonneville driven by the Arnold men sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Politte's 1998 Honda Passport sustained moderate damage and also was towed.

Gerrein and Terrell received medical treatment before being released from the hospital.
