Civil War Re-enactors Set Up Camp Near the Arnold Library
On Saturday, July 23, with temperatures near the century mark, a dedicated band of Civil War re-enactors pitched their tents and fielded questions from visitors.
The grassy lot across from the Arnold Branch of the Jefferson County Library at 1701 Missouri State Road, became an encampment of a group of Civil War re-enactors led by 1st Sergeant Charles Brulle and Corporal Brian Newton.
Tents were pitched and the cannons were ready for interested visitors to stop and enjoy the history lesson.
