Crime Blotter: Break-ins Reported on Lill Lane, Bayvue Boulevard

The following incidents were among those reported by the Arnold Police Department between July 26-27. For questions about this report, email associate regional editor Ryan Martin at ryan.martin@patch.com.

Thursday, July 26

Drug Possession — A 44-year-old Arnold woman was stopped in the 1200 block of Telegraph Road and issued a summons on suspicion of marijuana possession.

Friday, July 27

Shoplifting — At 1:34 a.m., $15 in alcohol was reported stolen from 7-Eleven at 3695 W. Outer Road.

Vehicle Break-ins — Three GPS units and a camera were reported stolen overnight from three unlocked work trucks parked on Lill Lane. In another incident on Lill Lane, property valued at $210 was reported stolen overnight from a vehicle.

Shed Break-in — An air compressor and hose valued at $150 were reported stolen overnight from a shed on Bayvue Boulevard. The lock to the shed was reportedly cut.

Vehicle Break-in — A car stereo was reported stolen overnight from a vehicle parked on Starling Community Trail.

I think that a nieghbor hood watch would be a good idea. The police can't patrole all the time but a group of homeowners can.

Equally as important as taking the initial report and doing the initial investigation is the follow-up investigation and detective work.I know several Arnold Officers and I know they do their best to do a good job.
