Girl Scouts Celebrate Their 100th Birthday with Arnold Lock-In

Girl Scouts will take over the Arnold Rec center on September 15th for a fun filled party all night long.

Girls will Zumba, swim, karaoke, karate and S.W.A.P. all night long at a special Girl Scout event held Sept. 15 from 9 p.m. until Sunday morning at the Arnold Rec Center. Why? Because its their birthday! This year Girl Scouts around the nation are celebrating the 100th year of Juliette Low's dream of scouting for girls.

Individual Girl Scouts from Daisy on up are invited to RSVP for this event. Daisy Scouts must be accompanied by an adult, but older girls can be dropped off. There is no troop registration for the event. Tickets are $20.

The scouts will also be collecting new unwrapped toys to donate to Arnold Fire House #1 and #5 for fire victims.

Adult registered Scouts who volunteer to chaperone for at least a five hour shift will receive admission free for themselves, plus food and drink.
