Help Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry Find Storage Space
They're looking for a place to store food in the northern part of the county.
The Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry needs a new space to store pet food, and they've turned to the community for help.
Debby Mikles posted the call for assistance on Facebook Monday evening. Locations in Arnold, Barnhart, Imperial, Fenton, High Ridge or House Springs are ideal to serve northern Jefferson County.
"We just need maybe a 10 x 10 space to store food. Everything is in containers (except canned food which would be on shelving). We would need a place with parking to do distributions once a month," Mikles said via Facebook. "I am very clean, tidy (almost compulsive) and organized. Any business with a spare, clean, dry storage area would be great. We could pay a small monthly fee or it could be written off as a tax deduction."
Normal storage facilities won't work, because they don't allow consumable items.
