An Imperial man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint by a former co-worker on July 30.
The victim was given about $950 by his roommate to pay for a money order for rent, according to a police report. The victim's former co-worker picked him up at about 8:40 p.m. to give him a ride.
While driving on West Outer Road in Arnold, the suspect pulled out a semiautomatic pistol and demanded the victim's money, according to a police report. The victim was struck in the head by the barrel of the gun.
After taking the money, the suspect fled north on West Outer Road, the report states. The victim was left in the area of Elm Drive and West Outer Road.
