Kimmswick's 7Up Heiress Dies

Funeral arrangements for Lucianna Gladney Ross, 96, are still being planned.

 

Lucianna Gladney Ross, who was part of the 7Up soda fortune and helped revitalize Kimmswick, died at the age of 96 on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

Ross bought property in the Jefferson County city then leased space to retailers in the 1960s, reports the stltoday.com website.

Another Ross project in the 1970's probably saved Kimmswick, the newspaper website says.
