Numerous Thefts from Unlocked Cars in Arnold
The Arnold Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff's Department provided the following information.
Assault — A driver reported a suspect followed him into the QuikTrip gas station, at 3700 Jeffco Blvd, made several threats and showed a handgun bullet clip. The actions were part of a road rage incident, police said.
Unlawful Weapon Use, Obstruction — Arnold police responded to calls about a suspect with a handgun in the Pisa Group parking lot at 665 Jeffco Blvd. The Imperial man, 30, fled the area but police caught the suspect while driving in noontime traffic. Officers learned the suspect displayed the weapon to a victim earlier in the day and went home to allegedly hide the weapon in his attic. Police seized the weapon as evidence and arrested the suspect. Police also arrested a Hillsboro man, 39, in the suspect’s car on obstructing police. Both suspects were released on pending warrants.
Theft — Woman, living in the 2700 block of Pomme Meadows, reported her GPS, gas card and coins missing from her car while it was parked overnight.
Theft, Property Damage — A woman, residing at Rockwood Drive, reported $600 in clothes and stereo equipment missing from her car. The victim also reported a broken windshield on her car. She parked the car overnight on the street.
Theft, Property Damage — A Meramec Valley woman reported damage to her car while it was parked overnight. She also reported a missing stereo system, clothing and radar detector.
Stealing less than $500 — Arnold police are looking for blue Chevy Silvarado with Missouri plates. Zinger’s Mart employees at 1502 Jeffco Blvd., allege that the driver pumped $34 of fuel and left without paying.
Stealing — Taco Bell employees, at 1932 Richardson Road, reported a man wearing a Sponge Bob hat stole a donation jar holding less than $10. Police found the suspect, a 26-year-old Fenton man, at The Waffle House at 3960 Vogel Road. Police released the man on a court summons.
DWI — A St. Louis woman, 20, faces charges of driving while intoxicated after officers stopped her and found she had a blood alcohol level of 0.105 percent. Officers stopped the woman near the intersection of Interstate 55 and Hwy. 141.
Liquor Law Violation — Arnold patrol officers saw people consuming alcoholic drinks at El Piasano’s, at 1424 Jeffco Blvd., at about 5 a.m. Police issued a court summon to a Fenton man, 34, for allows alcohol consumption after hours
Marijuana Possession — Arnold police charged two St. Louis men, ages 21 and 22, with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Value Place hotel, at 888 Arnold Commons. An off-duty police officer working security smelled burnt marijuana, the report said. Both suspects were evicted from the hotel and issued court summonses.
Marijuana Possession — A Memphis, TN man, 20, faces marijuana possession charges after Arnold police stopped him for a traffic violation near the intersection of Interstate 55 and Richardson Road. Police released the man at the scene with a court summons.
Shoplifting, Drug Paraphernalia Possession— Walmart security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., detained an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl for allegedly shoplifting. One suspect also faces drug paraphernalia charges. The suspects were booked and released on court summonses.
Theft — A woman reported prescription medicine, a knife and $100 in cash missing from her unlocked car while it was parked overnight on Rockwood Drive.

Fugitive, Stealing less than $500 — Walmart store security detained an Arnold woman, 32, for shoplifting and learned about a Town & County warrant for her arrest. Police also arrested a second Arnold woman, 32, wanted on a warrant from Kirkwood. The suspects were arrested, held and then released to requesting law department officers.
Fugitive —Arnold police found an Arnold man, 38, residing at Ozark Drive who allegedly did not pay his bill at the 54th Street restaurant. A computer check revealed that St. Louis city police wanted the suspect on burglary charges.
Deportation — Responding to a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department request, Arnold police officers detained an Arnold man, 25, wanted on a $760 bond. A computer check revealed US Customs wanted the suspect for deportation.
Trespassing, Theft more than $500 — Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said that a Forest Lane resident and her mother reported about $1,300 in property was stolen from their home. Among the missing items are a a 42-inch screen TV from their garage, a laptop from the basement bedroom.
Stealing more than $500 — Cato loss prevention employees at 450 Richardson Crossing reported an employee, a Imperial woman age 40, allegedly stole $1,300 in merchandise over an extended period of time. Arnold police arrested, booked and released on pending warrants.
DWI — While investigating a wreck at the intersection of Hwy. 141 and southbound Interstate 55, Arnold police charged an Affton man, 35, with driving while intoxicated. The suspect was booked and had a blood alcohol level of 0.124 percent. Police released the suspect on pending warrants to a sober driver.
Leaving without Paying — The manager at Texas Roadhouse, at 806 Arnold Commons Drive, called Arnold police to report suspects who left the restaurant without paying their $93 bill. A waitress provided the suspect’s license plate to the police.
Marijuana Possession — While investigating an suspicious vehicle in the 2000 block os Essex, Arnold police officers found an Arnold man, 23, in possession of marijuana. Police released the suspect at the suspect at the scene on a court summons.
DWI — A Jefferson City man, 22, faces charges of driving while intoxicated after Arnold police officers stopped him near the intersection of Jeffco Boulevards and Richardson Road. The suspect allegedly had a blood alcohol level of 0.18, was booked and released to a sober driver, police said.
