Chesterfield Borders Will Close by End of April: The Borders in Chesterfield Mall will close as part of the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy reoganization. The store will continue to recognize gift cards and its rewards program.

Police Arrest Two Suspects in Connection With Copper Thefts: Police say the suspects entered vacant Brentwood and Sunset Hills homes over the past several weeks and stole copper pipes from inside. Every home had a "For Sale" sign in the yard. The suspects also stole copper pipes from homes in Crestwood, Kirkwood, Rock Hill, Sunset Hills, Webster Groves and parts of South County

First Public Hearing on Red Light Camera Ban Yields Few Comments: The new seven-member council is considering amending the county’s traffic code to prohibit the use of the cameras in unincorporated parts of the county.
