A male Basset Hound, #197462, is a great family pet and has ears that almost touch the ground.
This male Black Labrador mix puppy, #197616, is very playful and craves a lot of love.
This female Pug, #198202, is little sweetie that would love to find a forever home and family.
This male Terrier mix, #197987, is just too cute, is very lovable and needs a good home.
A male Terrier mix, #197980, is the perfect lap and companion dog. A great addition for any family.

If interested in the pets listed, please remember its identification number to help Jefferson County Animal Control staff find the desired pet.

There is a $135 adoption fee for dogs and cats.

If the dog or cat is already altered the adoption fee is $50.

Fees include spay or neuter, first set of vaccinations, a one year rabie control, heart worm/feline leukemia test, and avid microchip, fecal and health exam.

Have you started having business hrs when someone can come and adopt a pet. I hope so. I know it used to be you were only open a few hrs during the week (during normal work hrs for potential adoptees) and not open any weekend days when people could come adopt one. No wonder there is an over crowding problem.
