Stepson Arrested in Burglary of Stepmother's Arnold Home

Sunday, Nov. 11
A coin collection and jewelry, valued at $4,000, were reported stolen from on a home Anita in Arnold between September and Nov. 11. The victim said she believed it was her ex-roommate who left the home on Nov. 11.
Thursday, Nov. 8
Fluorescent light bulbs were reported stolen from a vacant home Crystalwood Drive in Imperial. The victim noticed the missing items and pry marks in the interior garage doors when she did the final walk of the home. Police believe the point of entry was the exterior garage door that was only secured with a chain lock at the very top. Also, a screen had been taken off the rear bathroom window and was found laying next to the air conditioner just below the window.
Sunday, Nov. 4
Three were arrested for burglary at a home on Oak Bridge Drive in Arnold. A 50-inch Samsung television, a gold bracelet, a box containing change, an 8 x 10 picture frame containing a $20 bill, costume jewelry, two REVO gas powered RC cars, a Genevix watch, a Kobalt tool box, a 12 pack of Hawaiian Punch, a bag of Doritos and a box of oatmeal creme pies were missing from the home. The items were valued at $4524.
The victim told police she left the home and when she returned, she saw the door leading from her garage into the kitchen open and said several items were out of place. She told police she believed her stepson may have been involved. Police contacted the stepson at a home he was staying at Kirchoff Lane. He was in possession of much of the stolen property and told police two others involved.
Saturday, Nov. 3
A Nikon digital camera with multiple lens, a DVD player, cash and several gift cards were stolen from a home on Jeffco Boulevard in Arnold between Oct. 30 and Nov. 3. Entry was made by breaking out a rear window.
