ArnoldPatch has been flooded with emails asking about Watercolor Villas, the senior apartment complex being built across from Ferd B. Lang Park.

Finally we have the details and found a few photos of the apartments' interiors.

First, all the units have been leased and there is a waiting list to occupy the apartments, the developer said in an email message.

"This should not discourage individuals from calling the management and have their names placed on the list," said Patrick W. Werner of Arapaho Development.

People wanting to apply for an apartment can call 636-287-1273.

The aparment complex is for people ages 55 and older. Monthly rent is $398.

All apartments are energy efficent, use geothermal heating and cooling and have solar panels to keep utility bills low.

The developer provides the dishwasher, range, refrigerator, microwave, washer and dryer in each apartment.

There is a community building for public gatherings with neighbors, friends and family.

Low impact exercise equipment will be provided to tenants. A manager and maintenance person will be on-site and working full-time.
