Two firearms were reported stolen as part of a burglary in Imperial last week.  The incident occurred between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 12 on Frisco Hill Road, according to a Jefferson County Sheriff's Department report. Someone stole a North American Arms Guardian .380 pistol valued at $450 and a .38 Smith & Wesson Special revolver valued at $300.  The unknown burglar(s) broke into a metal barn with an attached living area to steal the handguns, the report notes. An Imperial man told police his mother stole and sold parts from his 1991 white Dodge Ram pickup truck sometime between last October and this April while it was parked at her house on Meadow Drive in Imperial. That's according to a report from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. The truck, valued at $1,200, now is missing.  A sheriff's deputy talked with the mother who said she sold the hood and two doors from the truck, but said she did not remove it from her property, nor did she allow anyone else to remove it. The truck now is listed as stolen.

An Imperial woman has been in and out of the hospital during the past few months, and some of her things are now missing. That's according to a Jefferson County Sheriff's Department report. A burglar who forced entry into a home through a rear door Nov. 6 on Valley Oak Drive, Imperial, got away with an estimated $10,300 worth of gold jewelry and watches, according to a report from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. Missing were a gold charm/bar with a gold "rope" necklace and "24" etched on the bar, eight watches (one white, one rolled gold, and one porcelain. No descriptions on the other watches), and a gold pinkie ring with the initials DR on top of the ring. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department website regularly updates its Ten Most Wanted list. The list is updated as fugitives are apprehended. It currently includes includes suspects wanted for first-degree murder, arson, endangering the welfare of a child and possession of controlled substances. Among them is Ashley Johnson, pictured here. Nov. 7 $1,425 in Tires Stolen — An Jeffco Boulevard business owner reported 38 tires missing from racks chained to their racks in front of his building. The owner never reported the missing items in the past and decided to lock the items after the first theft. The 38 tires are worth about $1,425, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy reported. Missing Handgun, Vogel Road, Arnold An Arnold resident on Vogel Road reported missing a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver handgun and two music CDs on Feb. 5. Two friends were moving furniture at a Vogel Road residence that day, the deputy said in a statement. During that time, one of them decided to store his handgun in his friend's vehicle. Both people forgot about the gun's location, the report said. After moving the furniture, the friend drove home.
