Volunteers will work in and around the Meramec River picking up debris accummulated for the past year. We expect about 300 people to help since the river is so low and we can actually go into the water.

Stream Team leader Brian Waldrop and Suzy Higgins, of the Department of Natural Resources, explain that people dumped tires in the Meramec River years ago.
