Arnold's First Howl-O-Ween Dog Pawty Called a Success

Two- and four-legged visitors braved some chilly temperatures Saturday to take part in a pet parade and a variety of costume contests. The event was held at Arnold City Park.

Organizers of the first Arnold Howl-O-Ween Dog Pawty are calling the event a success.

The event, sponsored by the Arnold Parks and Recreation Department, was held at Arnold City Park on Saturday. About 45 pups and their families registered for the event, which included a pet parade and a variety of Halloween costume contests.

"We're really pleased with the turnout," said Susie Boone, director of the parks and recreation department.
