Get Out . . . and Enjoy Arnold This Weekend

Here are some of fun activities in Arnold for this weekend. With an average daily temperature of 52 degrees and clear skies, everyone should enjoy this weekend.

It's that time of week again—time to start thinking about what to do with yourself this weekend. Whether you're looking for something fun to do with the family, want to take Mom or Grandma out for some quality bonding time, or you're just looking for a cheap date, we've got you covered. 


Where/When: 
, 11:45 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.
Why Go: Why should the senior centers have all the fun? Bingo is a great time for folks of all ages, and this one is Valentine-themed, so it promises to be even more special. Plus, lunch is included in the ticket price.
Pricing: $10 per person


Where/When: Fox Service Center, 849 Jeffco Blvd, Friday, Feb. 11. Doors open at 6 p.m., trivia starts at 7.
Why Go: Come out to help the Fox High School Choir get to a competition in New York City, and stay for the fun. There will be a special musical trivia round, featuring the talented voices of the choir, and plenty of other games and chances for prizes.
Pricing: $20 per person


Where/When: , 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11. 
Why Go: Who doesn't love a good mystery? Even the moody teenage one won't be able to help but have fun with this. Plus, if it saves you from having to feed or entertain the crew for a night, which makes it an automatic win-win.
Pricing: $10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and under


Where/When: Arnold branch of Jefferson County Library, 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12. 
Why Go: It's a chance to support a local author/illustrator, meet her face-to-face and pick up a signed copy of her new book, Drops of Rosie.
Pricing: Event is free, but consider buying the book for around $9


Where/When: Arnold branch of Jefferson County Library, 3 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12.
Why Go: If you or any teens/tweens you know are a fan of the books nominated for this year's Mark Twain award (see the event listing for a list), this book battle will be a fun way to test your knowledge and befriend other bookworms.
