A group of unions is providing about $5,000 to homebuyers at closing this month.
Missouri residents wanting to buy a home now have some extra support this month.
Nine St. Louis unions have created a $600,000 fund to help people buy homes built by the St. Louis Union Homebuilding Partnership, reports the St. Louis Business Journal website.
The program named Neighborhoods Built by Neighbors, is only available in February, and will provide an average of $5,000 to eligible home buyers at closing.
