Publish Your Manuscript Workshop

My book , The Adventures of a Common Man, was released Jan 2010. While promoting my book, I discovered that many people have written things and would like to share them with the world. Their problem was that they either did not know how to proceed or had been unsuccessful in their attempt. Being able to share the written word with those outside the family and friends is, of course, very difficult. My Publish your Manuscript Workshop was developed to answer many of the questions I was asked about how the process actually works. Some items discussed in the workshop are: What are the motivations for publishing?, How do you get started?, and What happens after publication occurs? Everyone attending will leave  inspired with practical knowledge about the publishing process as well as links to actual publishers.

A recent participant of the workshop wrote the following:  Your presentation was very professionally done and was very helpful for those of us who are interested in publishing our work. Your advise was excellent and I am in the process of completing the manuscript in total before contacting any publisher. I appreciated the thoughts concerning the “marketing” requirements for a book. In all I am very grateful for your effort and for all the things that you covered with us and for us.  I will be presenting my Publish Your Manuscript Workshop on Saturday May 5 2012, at Parable Christian Store in Arnold, Mo from 1:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m. The fee is $20. A portion of the fee will be donated to Hopeville of St. Louis. Anyone interested in attending is welcome to contact me at common.man1@live.com
