Half Price Shakes at Sonic for Tax Day
Sonic Burgers is offering to ease the stress on tax filing on Tuesday.
, a drive-thru burger restaurant, is offering half priced slushes and fountain drinks all day on Tuesday, April 17.
Usually "Happy Hour" occurs at the burger restaurant daily from 2-4 p.m., said a company news release. For tax filing day, Sonic will provide "Happy Hour" all day long.
"People work hard to get their taxes filed, and SONIC’s Happy Hour All Day on Tax Day is a great way to reward our hard-working customers at the conclusion of tax season," said James O’Reilly, Sonic's chief marketing officer.

There are almost 400,000 drink combinations, so tax filers can easily find the best drink to enjoy on a stressful day, O'Reilly said.
Classic favorites are Cherry Limeade, made with real, fresh-squeezed lime and maraschino cherry, the deliciously flavorful Ocean Water, with a hint of coconut, and the Lemonberry Slush, an icy thirst-quencher combining fresh lemons and real strawberries.
