There's Always Something Special at Rizzo's of South County

Getting more bang for your buck is what daily specials are all about. It's also the signature marketing strategy that's given Rizzo's of South County an edge over the competition that has provided customers an affordable dining experience since 1987.

Uncomplicated, affordable St Louis-style Italian cuisine is the house specialty at Rizzo’s of South County where its daily lunch and early bird dinner specials continues to provide a dining stimulus for the budget minded.

Daily specials average $9.95 for lunch with early bird dinner rates topping off at $10.95, which includes an entrée, salad and side. Always counted among Rizzos’ specials are the Chicken and Beef Speidini, signature items that have been featured since its opening in 1987.  Speidini prep for both chicken or beef marinates the meat before its rolled in seasoned breadcrumbs, skewered and charcoal grilled. Each is plated and drizzled with a white wine lemon butter sauce.

Veal, beef, chicken and fish dishes are well represented with each processing an Italian accent. Veal Parmigiano, Tenderloin Modiga and Cod Cardinale, a lightly breaded and fired fillet that’s draped in Provel and topped with green peas and mushrooms are excellent examples of rizzo's classic Italiano dishes seasoned to please St Louisans tastes.

Pasta dominates the menu with over 20 different choices to satisfy the cravings of both red and white sauce fans. Pasta start at $9.50 for Ravioli with meat sauce and tops out at $12.25 for Linguini Con Pesce that’s studded with shrimp, clams and crabmeat. Pastas are large enough for two so you may want to consider splitting it with your dining partner. The spilt charge, the best deal in the house is only $2.

Rizzo’s is tucked in the corner of the strip center at Lemay Ferry and Keller Plaza. Dining atmosphere is casual with an open multi level dining room and bar area outfitted with flat screen TVs to catch the game. A comfortable setting that’s unpretentious without the flash of other operations that delivers plenty of bang for the buck.
