I got into bicycles as therapy for dealing with girlfriends that I wasn’t really happy about. Then an opportunity came up about three years ago down at the Ballwin store to work for them and get paid for therapy instead of paying for it. So I picked up a position as a salesperson and worked really hard and came up through the company and became an assistant manager in Ballwin. Then, this opportunity came up here in Arnold to be a store manager, and I just couldn’t say no.

It’s a great job. There’s not a whole lot not to like. Sometimes the hours can be kind of taxing, but that goes with opening a new store, and that will get better as time goes on. They say do what you love and you never work a day in your life. Well, I’ve got that going for me.
