Dine Out for the Jefferson County Library

Jilly's Cafe & Steakhouse to donate a percentage of its proceeds to the Jefferson County Library Foundation.

With its first fundraiser, the Jefferson County Library Foundation is sponsoring "Dine Out for the Library," on Thursday at  in High Ridge. 

Jilly's has pledged to donate 10 percent of its proceeds from every lunch and dinner purhased on Thursday for everyone who brings in a coupon for the "Dine Out for the Library" event. Coupons are available at all three Jefferson County Library Branch locations: at 1701 Missouri State Road in Arnold; Windsor Branch at 7479 Metropolitan Boulevard in Barnhart; and at 5680 State Road PP in High Ridge. The Library Foundation was established in October 2010 to raise awareness and funds to support the technology development needs of the Jefferson County Library, celebrating 20 years of service to northern Jefferson County in 2011.

David Mangelsdorf, president of the Library Foundation Board, said the foundation's ultimate goal is to establish an endowment fund to provide the seed money for new technology that will help the library provide the programs and services people want in the most cost-effective way.
