Tax-Free Shopping at MERS/Goodwill in Arnold

Tax-free shopping is available every day at the MERS/Goodwill store in Arnold at 3616 Richardson Square Way.

Parents shopping for back-to-school items took advantage of Missouri’s sales tax amnesty, which occurred Friday through Sunday. They can also benefit from tax-free purchases at the MERS/Goodwill store at 3616 Richardson Square Way.

All purchases at any MERS/Goodwill store in the St. Louis region are tax-free, said Bree Peterson, a spokeswoman for the nonprofit organization.

Without sales taxes, parents have more money for their children’s school items. A new backpack sells for about $5 and and wheeled-backpacks are $7 at MERS/Goodwill, Peterson said.
