Areva Martin Books and More at new ICAA HUB

International Coalition for Autism and All Abilities in South County serves people in Jefferson County and St. Louis Metro who are on the Autism spectrum and those with other abilities.

In case you missed it, renowned advocate Areva Martin was in St. Louis earlier this year.

The International Coalition for Autism and All Abilities (ICAA), a non-profit dedicated to helping people on the autism spectrum and those will different abilities, will have her book The Everyday Advocate at the ICAA HUB in South County, 200 Crestwood Plaza in Crestwood, MO 63126.

Since opening the HUB—which offers a store, support group, workshop, event location and main office—ICAA has been busy.

ICAA is right around the corner from Yeti Gaming and across from the popular Sci Fi Lounge and the Animeeggroll Store. The Crestwood Plaza movie theatre is also right down the hall. The movie theatre is still open, show new movies, and the place is clean and comfortable. It has been a frequent stop for many area families hoping to keep cool this summer.

ICAA plans to provide family support group meetings soon. If you or someone you know of in the area is in need of support or services for autism and special needs related issues, feel free to stop by.

Summer hours are posted on the website.

Along with books from my friend and mentor Areva Martin, ICAA offers sensory toys, educational toys, and other books. ICAA will hold a grand opening event before summer's end.

Since moving in, we have learned that annual events for the Epilepsy Foundation are held at Crestwood Plaza. Other non-profits and art-themed groups are looking to move in as well. ICAA looks forward to serving even more families in the community from this new South County location.
