The Jefferson County Hunger Task Force in conjunction with Walgreens Drug Stores of Jefferson County will hold a personal care and food drive on Saturday, Feb. 9.
The purpose of the drive is to collect personal care and food products to be distributed to local food pantries that are participating members of the Jefferson County Hunger Task Force. Many of these items are not available through purchase with food stamps.
The Hunger Task Force will have volunteers at each of Walgreen’s nine stores including those in Arnold, Barnhart, DeSoto, Fenton, Festus, High Ridge and House Springs
from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cash donations will be used to purchase these much needed products.
The Jefferson County Hunger Task Force deeply appreciates the support of our friends and neighbors have offered through their generous donations to food and personal care drives.
