Today the Supreme Court ruled on Obama Care....amazingly against what every pundit said....it was ruled constitional under the "tax code".....absolutly amazing wouldn't you say.....
First of all, Obama pushed it through as a US Commerce amendment.....NOT A TAX..and they emphasized that many many times....but before the Supreme Court...it was presented as a Tax...and the Federal Government can levy taxes.....
regardless, everywhere you heard or read,,,,it was going to be defeated by at least 5-4 and some said 6-3...with justice kennedy being the swing vote...in fact, Time did a piece on Kennedy as the swing member of the Court......but who proved to be the deciding vote but none other that the Chief of the Court, Justice Roberts who sided with the left saying it was consitutional under the tax code....because if you dont take health insurance, the IRS will tax you as a penalty....

Incredible stuff....first of all that even the court is polarized...between democrats and republicans instead of being "constitutional"....will it ever end...
we are moving to a single payer system...we have to ....healthcare costs are unstainable....history tells us that if a country dedicates any one sector of their GDP that exceeds 25%..it is unstainable...that is what brought down the soviet untion.....25% of their GDP was for the military......Healthcare in the US is over 18% now and expected to increase to 22% without this legislation...now...all bets are off........and what is worse.....we dont get better care......France is the best in the world...they spend about 1/3 of what we do on their population....take at look at the World Health Organizations statistics.........we rank 41st in infant mortality.....Senegal in Africa is #40.....the only area we outrank everyone is breast cancer and that is only a .5% better than Britian who is #2...

November will be interesting......if this failed..then Obama would have been done....I think Justice Roberts was cognizant of this...the primary success of Obamas administration...Roberts succumbed to pressure from the whitel house.....he wanted the court to appear non partisan......
Time will tell.......but expect costs to go up and oh by the way.....there arernt 40 milion without health insurance but probably around 10 million and they are overwhelmingly terribly poor.....but the IRS will tax them.......just crazy!!!
