Modot never ceases to amaze me....I often wonder do they hire people who are too bright or do they get that way from working there.
They are closing Interstate 270 completely for road work...although temporarily...how do you close a major artery like 270 unless it is a major disaster.....I just don't get it...
Like the time I was heading to the airport on a Sunday....off of I-270 and took the Interstate 70 ramp to the airport.....got halfway up the ramp....and it was completely closed...not a sign to be found...at the closure or anywhere else...thank heavens it was Sunday and I always tried to be at least 2 hours early for a flight because I had to back down the ramp....and get on the rock road exit to get to the airport....

and how about the fiasco this winter with the roads.....and it happened the previous winter as well...so obviously...there were no lessons there.....
kinda of like the weathermen and woman...makes no difference in getting anything right....they continue on ...I guess every day is a brand new day.....after all....I know they slept since yesterday
