Holiday Celebration by St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Enjoy your favorite carols, a visit from Santa and holiday music performed by the STL Symphony and Holiday Festival Chorus inside a splendidly decorated Powell Hall. December 20-22, 2013.

THE NUTCRACKER , by the Saint Louis Ballet , opens Friday at the Touhill Performing Arts Center . The most popular tradition in St. Louis. A beloved holiday classic, magic storytelling and beautiful dancing. Through December 29!

Family Theater Series: The Mischievous Elf at St. Louis Public Library - Central Branch. Piwacket Theatre presents The Mischievous Elf at SLPL - Central. Seating is limited. Pick up FREE tickets in advance at Central, Buder, Divoll, or Kingshighway Branches beginning December 1, while supplies last. (Limit 4 per person.)

Candlelight Christmas Open House at Campbell House Museum. Come see our Christmas decorations! Bring your kids, bring a friend, bring a special someone and take a step back into the Victorian era and a Campbell family Christmas. Light refreshments will be provided!

Parents Night Out - Friday December 20th 6-9pm  at Miss Kelly's - The Gym For Kids . Do you need some time to finish your Holiday shopping? Does your child need somewhere fun and safe to play with friends? Look no further than Miss Kelly's Parents Night Out.

Free Family Night at the Magic House. The Magic House holds Emerson Free Family Nights every third Friday of the month from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Breakfast with Santa at Dinner-time (Belleville) at Eckert's Country Store and Farms. Join us for breakfast with Santa at our Belleville farm at dinner-time! Children can tell Santa their Christmas wishes and receive a special gift. We will capture the moment in a photo of your child with Santa. Reservations are suggested.

Friday-Saturday: 

Storytelling at the Missouri History Museum: South Pole Soiree  Brrr, it’s cold outside! Let’s get cozy with some books about polar bears and penguins. Program runs Friday at 10:30am and Saturday from 10am-12:30pm. Free!

Saturday: 

Breakfast with Santa (Belleville) at Eckert's Country Store and Farms. Join us for breakfast with Santa at our Belleville farm! Children can tell Santa their Christmas wishes. Santa has a special gift for each child. We will capture the moment in a photo of your child with Santa. Reservations are suggested.

Great Green Adventures: Tropical Treats at Missouri Botanical Garden. Did you know that many of our yummy treats come from plants in the tropical rainforest? Come along as we explore in the Climatron®. For children ages 6 to 12 with an adult.

Sunday:  

St. Charles Chill v. Quad City Mallards  at St. Charles Chill. See the St. Charles Chill take on the Quad City Mallards at the Family Arena!

Monday:  

Celebrate the Holidays with Babaloo! at St. Louis County Library - Grand Glaize Branch. Celebrate the holiday in style! Babaloo's high energy, rockin' music one-man comedy show is a guaranteed good time for kids and parents. All ages. Registration required. Rooms 1 and 2. Free library event!!

Monday-Tuesday: 

Story Hour with the West County Fire Dept. at Whole Foods Market - Town & Country. Did you ever wonder what the firemen like to eat during the holidays? Come to this special story hour and find out what our firemen really enjoy eating during the holidays.
