Friday


Kick off the holidays Downtown:  Citygarden Holiday Light Display begins at 6pm, coinciding with the Macy's Festival of Lights at Kiener Plaza with Christmas Village and St. Louis' best food trucks. The show includes lots of entertainment for families! The tree lighting takes place at 6:25pm, followed by a stunning fireworks display.

Way of Lights at National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows. Focusing on the birth of Jesus, this unique celebration of Christmas features a mile-and-a-half drive with over one million lights electro-art displays and life-size biblical statues which take you on a scriptural Journey to Bethlehem. Nov 22-Jan 3.

The annual St. Peters Tree Lighting ceremony is a FREE family event with wonderful entertainment featuring holiday-themed musical performances, a showing of The Santa Clause movie and a visit with Santa Claus himself!

Winter WonderWalk at Tilles Park  Celebrate 28 years of holiday merry-making at Tilles Park! Walk through Winter Wonderland! All participants, no matter their age, need a ticket to the event, including infants. November 22-24 only! Then, beginning WednesdayWinter Wonderland at Tilles Park open for vehicular traffic and carriage rides Sunday thru Friday from 5:30pm – 9:30pm, November 27-January 1. Closed Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Storytelling at the Missouri History Museum: Gobble-Gobble  A special holiday is right around the corner, and turkey is the talk of the town! Join us for Thanksgiving stories!

Garden Glow at Missouri Botanical GardenFor the first time, hundreds of thousands of lights will illuminate some of the Garden's most iconic locations this winter at Garden Glow! I am lucky to get to preview this event, so keep tabs to next week's newsletter and our Facebook page for pictures/review of this much anticipated holiday event!

It's a Wonderful Life in Old Town Eureka!  Join us in Old Town Eureka for the holiday tree lighting and to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season! Live entertainment, carriage rides, crafts, holiday vendor market, pictures with Santa, and a screening of It's a Wonderful Life!

Meet Trooper: "Trooper's Triumphs (The Brave Puppy Who Wouldn't Give Up)" at Left Bank Books. Meet Trooper, the brave little puppy who was badly injured in a dragging accident, rescued and brought back to health by the Humane Society of Missouri Animal Cruelty Task Force.

Friends of Kirkwood Public Library Children's Shopping Event at Kirkwood Public LIbrary. Bring your children to shop and make a craft at the Children's Holiday Shopping Event!

Allegro Winter Concert at COCA (Center of Creative Arts). Allegro, COCA’s student vocal ensemble, performs its annual Winter Concert at 4pm!

Sunday 

Saint Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra Concert at Powell Hall. The Youth Orchestra traditionally plays three concerts each season and this is the first in that series.

 

St. Louis Family Theatre Series: Peter Pan at Florissant Civic Center Theatre. They are Bringing Stories to Life with the St Louis Family Series production of "Peter Pan." Running November 24, 29, 30 at the Florissant Civic Center.

Kids Can Help at The Magic House. Children can help those less fortunate and get into The Magic House for FREE during the Museum’s annual canned food drive!

United Hebrew Congregation invites you to the Community Hannukah Concert, an afternoon of wonderful Jewish Hannukah Music & Community Blessings, featuring festival musical performances!

Chanukah: Festival of Lights  at Missouri Botanical Garden. A traditional Jewish holiday celebration that includes festive Israeli music and dance, a menorah-lighting ceremony and Chanukah merchandise provided by local vendors and the Garden Gate Shop.
