I would like to give a very big heartfelt thank you to Chick-Fil-A, Arby's Roast Beef and Burger King for donating sandwiches to the Jefferson County Animal Control officers last Friday. Your kindness was very much appreciated! The officers' jobs can sometimes be very dangerous, especially when they are called out to go pick up dangerous animals on a drug bust or from hoarders or an animal that's been hit on the side of the road. A simple act of kindness by providing sandwiches was greatly appreciated.
