Insurance

HumaraI don't know much about computers but I really need some help!  Many other people are in the same boat as I and we are sinking!  I am a disabled senior citizen living on a fixed income.  I had brain surgery leading to sub-clavian- steel syndrome (heart issues)  and diabetes.  I have fallen on numerous occasions due to my brain causing me to loose my balance.  I have had Chrone's disease for about 5 years, it's a very ugly disease and no one knows why you get it but it never goes away!  I volunteer for a couple of organizations as my condition allows.  I have Medicare, part A&B, United Healthcare, MORX and Cigna part D.  I have been taking a very expensive drug Humara well all the insurance companies provide it on their formulary but the cost is unbelievable!  My food has to be sugar, lactose and gluten free and is also very costly.  In the beginning I got Humara from Abbott who created the drug, then they would no longer provide the medication and sent me to Abbvie who provided it, now since all the insurance companies have it on their formulary they will not assist me and referred me Healthwell Foundation, who has been giving me the run around for weeks!  I started this process in November and still I am getting the same run around.  My co-pay is almost $600.00, I can't pay it and I will not put it on my credit card because I have excellent credit but could never pay it off!  No one wants to help me and the pharmacy Wal Mart (Julie) has told me they have the same situation with many other patients and they usually go to some St. Vincent DePaul, well I could do that but I don't think it's fair.  The drug company got NIH and other grants (my tax dollars) and now the greed is out of hand.  I don't want to die and be in the hospital again getting morphine injections into my belly.  I lost 50 pounds the hard way, the more I worry the more attacks I have.  I can't stop being worried because I have no way to pay for this outrageous rich company!  I am asking you to investigate all these insurance companies to help those of us who can't help themselves!  What a rip off, I will not lay down and die without a fight for my rights!  Any advise or assistance you can give me would be greatly appreciated!  You may reach me by e-mail mcconsultants@att.net
