9-Year-Old Girl Found Wandering Berrywood Court, DFS Called

Copper stolen from home, numerous drug possession charges in Arnold Police Department crime report for Sept. 26 to Oct. 2

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

Oct. 2

Stealing at a Grocery — store security, at 3900 Vogel Rd., detained an Imperial woman, 40, for shoplifting. Police booked the suspect and released her on a pending arrest warrant.

Shoplifting — store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., detained a De Soto woman, 28, for shoplifting charges. Police released the suspect at the scene.

Drug Possession — Arnold police charged an Arnold man, 21, with heroin and drug paraphernalia possession during a traffic stop near the intersection of Vogel Road and Depot Road 3:43 p.m.

Oct. 1

Stolen Power Drills — A Starling Community victim reported that an air compressor drill and saw were missing from his unlocked shed.

Sept. 30

DWI, Leaving the Scene of a Wreck — Arnold police charged an Arnold man, 52, for leaving the scene of two vehicle wrecks at 1241 Water Tower Place. The suspect also faces charges of driving while influenced by prescription medication. Police took the suspect to St. Anthony’s Medical Center for blood and urine samples. Police booked the suspect then released him on pending lab results and arrest warrant.

Child endangerment — A Berrywood Court neighbor reported a 9-year-old girl wandering the area without adult supervision. Police learned the girl’s father, a 43-year-old Arnold man, left her in the care of her mentally disabled grandfather. Police found the father, issued a summons to him and called the Department of Family Services.

Sept. 29 

Road Rage, Property Damage — A road rage victim on Piney Drive called police after getting into an argument with an Arnold man, 48, who kicked and dented the victim’s truck. Police found the suspect at the scene and released him on a court summons.

Stealing a Toy Gun — Walmart store security detained an Imperial man, 19, for stealing a toy gun and batteries for a total value of $45. Police released the suspect at the scene on a court summons.

Assault — A victim near the intersection of Bayshore Parkway and Telegraph Road reported that a juvenile assaulted him at around 7:30 p.m. Police found and arrested the juvenile, then brought him to juvenile detention.

Sept. 28

Student hit by object thrown from moving car — A Fox C-6 School District student, wearing her school’s mascot uniform, was collecting school donations near the intersection of Highway 141 and Jeffco Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. Someone in a black vehicle threw a soda out the window, struck the student in the stomach and caused $1,000 in dry cleaning fees. Police said the offenses are assault and property damage.

Stealing —  security, at 2150 Michigan Ave., detained an Arnold woman, 25, after she allegedly tried to leave the store without paying for merchandise at about 8 p.m. Arnold police learned the suspect was wanted in St. Louis City and Warren County, held her for transfer to those department’s law enforcement officers.

Tazer, Resisting Arrest — Arnold police and Missouri State Highway Patrol used a tazer to stop an Arnold man, 37, who tried to flee a traffic stop near the intersection of Interstate 55 and Church Road. Arnold police transferred the suspect to MSHP for criminal charges.

Marijuana Possession — Arnold police on a traffic stop near Jeffco Boulevard and Telegraph Road charged an Arnold man, 46, on marijuana possession charges. Police booked the suspect and released him on a court summons.

Sept. 27

Car Stolen — A victim reported her black 2006 Pontiac G6 missing after she parked it overnight in a lot near Essex Drive. Police listed the car as stolen in the computer database.

Shoplifting — Walmart store security detained a Fenton woman, 54, for shoplifting. Arnold police booked and released the suspect on a court summons.

Tip Leads to Fugitive — Arnold police, investigating a tip, arrested an Arnold woman, 21, at 2370 Piper Drive. Police said the suspect was wanted on numerous warrants. After booking the suspect, police jailed her until law enforcement arrived from Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and to St. Louis County Police Department.

Stealing — Police charged an Arnold man, 17, an Imperial man, 20, and an Imperial female, 17, for allegedly stealing $170 in thermostats from , at 3901 Vogel Rd.

Sept. 26

Stolen Copper — A victim on Earliglow Court reported $1,800 of copper pipe missing from a home under construction. The victim said the robbery occurred over the weekend.

Hair Stylist’s Wallet Stolen — A Super Cuts employee, working at 842 Arnold Commons called  police after she saw an Arnold man, 20, enter the salon’s office area and allegedly stole her wallet. Arnold police found the suspect, booked and released him on a pending arrest warrant.

Marijuana Possession — Arnold police officers investigating a suspicious vehicle parked at 2001 Richardson Road at 12:45 a.m. found the driver in possession of 40.1 grams of marijuana. The Imperial man, 18, was booked and released on a pending arrest warrant.
