Another Counterfeit $20 Bill Passed in Arnold

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

Dec. 18

Marijuana Possession — Arnold police responded to a call of a suspicious person near the intersection of Tenbrook Road and Emil Drive at about 12:42 p.m. Police found the suspect, a 31 year old Arnold man, issued a citation and released him on a court summons.

DVD Player Stolen from Car — The victim, who had been watching an afternoon movie at at 1912 Richardson Rd., reported a DVD player missing from her unlocked vehicle. The loss is valued at $150.

Dec. 17

Burglary, Suspect Arrested — A Morris Drive victim reported numerous items missing from her residence. The woman said someone broke into the building between Dec. 9-17. Police said they identified and had detained a suspect.

Assault — Arnold police detained an Arnold man, 17, for an investigation about an assault near Waycross Drive. Police booked the man for questioning and until bond was posted.

Counterfeit Bill Passed — grocery store managers, at 3900 Vogel Rd, called Arnold police to report an unknown man wearing blue overall and a camouflage cap passed a counterfeit $20 bill.  Police seized store video of the man as evidence.

Driving While Influenced — Arnold police, on a traffic stop near the intersection of Interstate 55 and Richardson Road, charged a Festus man, 53, with driving while influenced at about 11:50 p.m. The man refused to take a breath test. Police booked the man and later released him to a sober driver.

Driving While Influenced — An Arnold woman, 34, faces a charge of driving while influenced after Arnold police stopped her near the intersection of Jeffco Boulevard and the Meramec River at about 1:15 a.m. The woman took a breath test and had a blood alcohol level of .163 percent. Arnold police booked the woman and held her until a sober person could drive her home.

Drug, Methamphetamine ingredient Possession — Arnold police responded to calls of suspicious people at the Rosemont Hotel, at 2121 Ridge Dr., at 3 a.m. Police found a Herculaneum man, 23, in possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana. The also found a 22 year old Arnold woman in possession of Adderall, a ingredient used to make methamphetamine. Police booked both suspects then released them on pending arrest warrants.

Dec. 16

Possible Overdose — Arnold police responded to a call of a possible overdose  in the 1300 block of Apollo Drive at about 1:15 p.m. Police charged a De Soto man, 17, with possession of a controlled substance and released him on a pending arrest warrant.

Stealing, Assault — Arnold police investigating a possible assault and theft at 250 Arnold Crossroads, charged a Festus woman, 24, as a fugitive from Festus, MO., law enforcement. Police booked and held the woman until law enforcement officers could return her to Festus. Police said another suspect, a 31 year old Hillsboro man, fled the area on foot. Police entered the man’s description and identity into the law enforcement database and said he is wanted for larceny and assault in Arnold.

Tresspassing — Arnold police charged an Arnold man, 18, for trespassing at 1701 Missouri State Rd., the address for the , at about 1:30 a.m. The man could not prove ownership of several items found in his vehicle during a police search. Officers booked the man and held until he posted bond.

Dec. 15

Missing Checkbook — A victim said he entered grocery, at 1253 Water Tower Pl., with his checkbook in a rear pants pocket. The man said he could not find the checkbook when he needed for pay for the items.

Stealing — Sprint cell phone managers, at 1935 Richardson Rd., detained an Imperial woman, 30, after she attempted to steal $320 in merchandise. Arnold police issued a court summons to the woman and towed her vehicle from the store parking lot.

Driving While Influenced — Arnold police charged a Florissant man, 26, with driving while influenced after a traffic stop near the intersection of Old Lemay Ferry Road and Arnold Commons Drive at about 1 a.m. A breath test showed the man had a .089 percent blood alcohol level. Police booked the man and later released him to a sober driver.

Driving While Influenced — An Arnold woman, 32, faces driving while influenced charges after Arnold police stopped her at 3700 block of Vogel Road, at 2:29 a.m. The woman refused to take a breath test. Police booked the woman and later released her to a sober driver.

Assaulting a Parent — Arnold police charged an Arnold man, 28, with assaulting his father on Starling Airport Road at 2:27 a.m. Police booked the man and later released him on a court summons.

Dec. 14

Stolen License Plates — A Pomme Creek victim reported both license plates missing from his truck while it was parked in his residence’s driveway at 2 p.m. Arnold police entered the missing plates into the law enforcement database.

Dec. 13

Marijuana Possession — During a traffic stop near the intersection of Tenbrook Road and Intagliata Drive at 3 p.m., Arnold police charged the driver and passenger with marijuana possession. Police issued court summonses to the Arnold woman, 19, and the New York man, 22, and released them at the intersection.

Stealing — Arnold police arrested an Arnold man, 32, at , at 2150 Michigan Ave., after he stole $144 in clothing. Police held the man in lieu of a $250 bond.

Dec. 12

Shoplifting, Fraud — Arnold police found a suspected shoplifter, a 22 year old Arnold man, accused of stealing three silver necklaces at Kohl’s, returning the necklaces to customer service and receiving $59 in gift cards. Arnold police found the suspect at the gasoline station, at 1069 Jeffco Blvd., at about 7:30 p.m. Police returned the gift cards to Kohl’s, charged the suspect and held him in lieu of a bond. 

Driving While Influenced — Arnold police responded to calls of a Barnhart man, 21 sleeping in a car at the restaurant drive-thru at 3600 West Outer Rd., at about 11:30 p.m. The man refused to perform a field sobriety test, police said, and was taken to Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Festus, MO. Afterwards, police booked the man and released him on a court summons.

Marijuana, Paraphernalia Possession — A House Springs, MO man, 21, faces charges of marijuana and paraphernalia possession after a traffic stop near the intersection of Highway 141 and Jeffco Boulevard at about 3 a.m. Police released the man on a court summons at the scene.
