Arnold Car Crash Sends 3 to Hospital

The two-car accident caused moderate injuries to one driver. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

A car crash on Highway 61/67 just north of Tall Oaks Road in Arnold sent three to the hospital on Friday, causing moderate injuries to one driver.

Page A. Tortell, of Barnhart, was at a stop in a 2005 Dodge Neon in the left lane on Highway 61/67, attempting to make a left turn, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Judy A. Eastabrook, of Dittmer, who was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant, failed to notice the car and struck it from behind.

Eastabrook, 60, Tortell, 16, and her 10-year-old passenger Hannah A. Griffith were transported to St. Anthony's Medial Center by the Rock Township Ambulance District, the highway patrol stated. Eastabrook had moderate injuries, and Tortell and Griffith had minor injuries.

The accident caused extensive damage to both vehicles, the highway patrol stated. Both cars had to be towed from the scene.Β
