Arnold Crime Report: Several Drug Possession Charges Last Week

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

August 28

Drug Possession — During a traffic stop near the intersection of Interstate 55 and Hwy. 141, police discovered a St. Peters man, 18, riding in a car in possession of marijuana. Police booked the man and released him on a court summons.

Drug possession — Arnold police responded to a call of a driver slumped at the wheel of a car parked at the parking lot at 888 Arnold Commons Drive. Officers found the man—a Cedar Hill resident, 44 — in a drugged condition, in possession of heroine and drug paraphernalia. Police charged the man with drug and paraphernalia possession and released on pending warrants.

Drug Possession — A Fate, TX, man, 29, faces drug and paraphernalia possession charges after police conducted a traffic stop near Interstate 55 and the Meramec River. Police processed the suspect and released him on a court summons.

Stealing, Fugitive and Minor in Possession of Alcohol — Arnold police arrested five Arnold residents — an 21-year-old man, two 18-year-old men, a 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl — and charged them with minor in possession of alcohol and stealing less than $500 at , at 2201 Michigan Ave. Police learned one male subject is wanted by Jefferson County. The suspects were booked and released on citations.

August 26

Assault, Road Rage — An Arnold man, 26, arrested after he almost ran into a motorcycle rider stopped near Arnold Commons. The man pulled beside the motorcycle rider, exchanged words, sprayed the motorcycle rider with mace, then struck another vehicle whiel attempting to flee the area, the police report said.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol — Arnold police charged an Arnold boy, 17, an Imperial woman, 18, and a juvenile for minor in possession of alcohol. Police arrested all three people near the intersection of Old Lemay Ferry Road and Doe Run, booked and released on court summons. Police returned the juvenile to her parents, police said.

August 25

Stealing — a Jefferson College student reported missing her wallet containing $100 in state aid checks while she attended class.

Stealing — store security, at 2150 Michigan Ave., stopped an Arnold woman, 26, who stole $290 in cash while working at the store. Police officers learned there are St. Louis County warrants and an Arnold warrant on the suspect. 

August 24

Burglary — A Roland Drive resident reported missing jewelry valued at about $3,000 from the residence. Someone had forced open the home’s door between August 22 and August 24, the police report stated.

August 23

Robbery — Walmart store security, at 2201 Michigan Ave., saw an Imperial woman, 32,  allegedly stealing merchandise. The woman then struck and fought with security officers when they tried to detain her, the Arnold police report said. During the arrest, police learned the suspect was released on probation and parole, was wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet and possessed Oxicodone.

Fugitive Arrest — Arnold police officers arrested a St. Louis man, 27, during traffic stop near the intersection of Vogel Road and West Outer Drive. The St. Louis County Police Department has a warrant for the suspect’s arrest. Arnold police also arrested a Dupo, IL, man, 22, who is wanted on an assault charge from St. Louis County Police.
