The man and his friend stole the truck from the friend's father, who tracked the two to a Crestwood store. The father confronted the two in the parking lot, and the Arnold man drove off while his friend's father hung on to the door handle.

A man stole his father’s truck, and his friend drove off in the truck while the father was hanging onto the door handle, according to a Crestwood police report.

Crestwood Police said that Nicholas Doane, 19, of the first block of Wampler Drive near Arnold, took the truck from his father’s Jefferson County home.

Using an app on his cell phone, the father tracked them to the parking lot at Kohl’s in Crestwood, police said. He confronted Doane and his friend, Anthony Passiglia, 28, of Arnold, in the parking lot and demanded they return his truck.
