Arnold Police Arrest 6 for DWI, 1 for Marijuana Posession

The following information was supplied by the Arnold Police Department for the week ending Nov. 4. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Oct. 29

  • The resident on Lone Pine Drive reported that someone unlocked a safe inside of his home and stole $1,700 in cash and a rifle valued at $400. The victim told police he thought that a family acquaintance staying at the home may be responsible. This incident occurred Oct. 26 and Oct. 29. While investigating the case, police made contact with a 19-year-old Arnold man, who had outstanding warrants. He was taken into custody and held pending bond/next court date.
  • A victim on Lantern Light reported that three people driving a black Ford Explorer stole a Craftsman air compressor valued at $300 and left the area traveling toward Old Lemay Ferry Road.

Tuesday, Oct. 30 

  • An employee at Dollar General at 505 Jeffco Blvd. reported that a woman left the store without paying for $42 in men’s clothing. The suspect was identified as 33-year-old Imperial woman. She left the area before officers arrived.
  • Store security at Goodwill at 3616 Richardson Sq. Dr. reported that on Oct. 21, a woman entered the store and left without paying for $32 in merchandise.
  • An employee of Steak & Shake at 120 Arnold Crossroads told police a man driving a white, four-door sedan attempted to make a purchase with a stolen credit card. The male fled west on Highway 141 moments before officers arrived. An investigation revealed the credit card was stolen when the victim’s truck was stolen earlier in the evening in unincorporated Jefferson County.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

  • Officers investigating an accident at Highway 141 and Astra Way arrested an Arnold man for DWI. He was booked and later released to a sober driver.
  • An officer on a traffic stop at Highway 55 and Highway 141 took a 27-year-old House Springs man into custody for DWI. He was also wanted by St. Louis City on traffic warrants. He was booked and held pending bond or agency.

Thursday, Nov. 1

  • An employee at ConocoPhillips at 1502 Jeffco Blvd. told police that someone pumped $12 in gas into a Penske rental truck and left without paying.
  • An officer on a traffic stop at Highway 55 and Richardson Road arrested a 28-year-old St. Louis man for DWI. The man was also wanted by other agencies on traffic warrants. He had a breath alcohol content of .124 and was held for other agencies.

Friday, Nov. 2

  • An officer on a traffic stop at Jeffco Boulevard and Betty took a 53-year-old Barnhart woman into custody. for DWI. She had a breath alcohol content of .089. She was booked and released to a sober driver.
  • An employee at Circle K at 2001 Richardson Rd. told police a man put $26.72 worth of gas into a Toyota Corolla and left without paying.
  • An officer on a traffic stop at Highway 55 and Richardson Road took a 41-year-old Fenton man into custody for DWI. His breath alcohol content was 0.226%. After processing, he was released to a sober driver.

Saturday, Nov. 3

  • A resident in the 2100 block of East Highway reported that someone stole the front license plate off of his 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis while it was parked in his driveway. The incident occurred between Oct. 31 and Nov. 3.
  • An officer on traffic on Jeffco Boulevard arrested a 60-year-old St. Louis man for DWI. His breath alcohol content was .102%. The man, who had a prior DWI, was booked and later released pending warrants to a sober driver.
  • A woman on Jackson Drive reported that she was struck on the face three times by a 32-year-old Arnold woman. The 32 year old was taken into custody, booked and processed. She was issued a summons for assault, and then placed in a holding cell pending release when sober.

Sunday, Nov. 4

  • An officer on traffic stop at Interstate 55 and Richardson Road arrested a 48-year-old St. Louis man for possession of marijuana and a fugitive warrant from St. Louis County. He was booked and later released on a summons after posting bond.
  • An officer investigating a vehicle facing the wrong direction near Interstate 55 and Church Road arrested a 58-year-old Imperial woman for driving while revoked, obstructing an officer and seven traffic warrants from various agencies. She was booked and held on the fugitive warrants. 
  • Officers arrested a 47-year-old Arnold man for stealing $43 in alcohol from Shop 'n Save at 1253 Water Tower Place. He also had outstanding warrants from another agency. He was issued a summons and placed in a holding cell pending agency pickup.
