Arnold Woman Uses Kitchen Knife, Stabs Her Boyfriend
A winery trip turned sour, according to police.
A 43-year-old Arnold woman was arrested for assault after she stabbed her boyfriend in the abdomen, according to police.
It happened at a home in the 3200 block of Causeway at about 8:15 p.m., on Aug. 18. Arnold police said the woman used a large kitchen knife to stab her boyfriend, a 45-year-old Arnold man. The stabbing caused a 1-inch long cut less than 1-inch deep.
The man’s injuries were not life threatening. He was taken to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County for treatment.

The woman told officers she was defending herself and her boyfriend was the aggressor. The couple had been to a winery earlier in the day, according to police.
