Beer, Liquor Top List of Arnold Thefts

The following information was supplied by the Arnold Police Department for the week ending Nov. 25. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

An employee at Shop n' Save at 1253 Water Tower Pl. reported that he/she had stopped a juvenile who had stolen two bottles of Jim Beam liquor valued at $12.28. The 15 year old was was released to a parent.

  • 3810 Jeffco Blvd U-gas The manager of U-Gas at 3810 Jeffco Blvd.  reported that a subject, later identified as 24-year-old Arnold man, stole $10.05 in gas. He then left the area in a blue 2002 Chevrolet Malibu.
  • A store clerk at 7-Eleven at 3695 West Outer Rd. reported that a woman entered the store and left without paying for a 30 pack of Busch beer valued at $17.59. The incident was captured on video.

Friday, Nov. 23

A resident on Weddell reported that someone stole the rear license plate from her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway.

Saturday, Nov. 24

  • A 45-year-old Arnold man was arrested during the investigation of a disturbance at Value Place Hotel at 888 Arnold Commons after he gave a false name. It was later discovered that he had an outstanding warrant through St. Louis County. Following booking, he was placed in a cell pending release to that authority.
  • A 21-year-old Imperial man was arrested after stealing a bottle of liquor from Circle K at 2001 Richardson Rd. Following booking, he was placed in a cell until a bond could be posted.
