Burglary Reported on Edgemont Drive in Arnold

The following information was supplied by the Arnold Police Department for the period ending Jan. 30. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Monday, Jan. 28

A homeowner on Edgemont Drive reported that someone broke into his house and stole an HP printer and miscellaneous papers sometime between Jan. 25 Jan. 28.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

  • A woman who lives on Trinity Circle told police that someone had dented and scratched her 2009 BMW while it was parked in the driveway.
  • A woman reported that she left her purse containing credit cards, a check book and a cell phone in a shopping cart at Walmart at 2201 Michigan Ave. and someone had removed the purse. It was later found by store employees and returned to the woman.
  • A license plate was reported stolen from a car parked on Creekside Trail between Jan. 15 and Jan. 29.

  • A store clerk at Circle K at 2001 Richardson Rd. told police someone driving a Chevrolet failed to pay for $20.03 in fuel.
  • An employee at Famous Footwear at 1215 Water Tower Place reported that a man stole a pair of Adidas shoes valued at $59.99 and fled in an unknown direction. The suspect was accompanied by a woman. Police are continuing to investigate.
  • A 22-year-old Imperial woman was arrested at Kohl’s at 2150 Michigan Ave. for stealing $80 in clothing, which was later recovered. She was booked and released on summons.
