Crime Reports: Fake Drug Prescriptions, Driver Litters in Front of Police Officer

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction.

June 26

Stolen License Plate — a Morris Drive resident reported his Missouri State License plate and 2013 tab missing from his vehicle. The victim said the theft occurred between June 24 and June 26. Police listed the license plate and tab as stolen into the computer database.

Making Methamphetamine — After receiving a tip about people making methamphetamine on Leolia Drive, Arnold police and Jefferson County Sheriff’s detectives arrested an Arnold woman, 31, and a St. Louis man, 34, charged them in connection to a meth lab. The suspects were transported to Hillsboro.

Theft from Unlocked Car — a Lakeview Crossing women reported her GPS unit missing from her vehicle while it was parked near her home. The loss is about $120.

June 23

Trespassing —A mother living on Lake Drive called police to report a 36-year-old woman sleeping in her son’s bed. The victim has told the suspect, in the past, that she was not welcome in the home. Police arrested the suspect and later released her on a court summons.

June 22

Littering in front of an officer — After a traffic stop, the driver, an Imperial man, 30, threw the tickets out of the window and littered the roadway, stated an Arnold police report. Police stopped the suspect a second time and issued additional court summonses.

June 20

Items stolen from vehicle — a victim reported a camera and CD case, total value at $180, missing from an unlocked vehicle parked on Tiara Drive.

Fraud, Drug Possession — A Festus woman, 21, faces fraud charges after she attempted to pass an altered drug prescription at a Vogel Road pharmacy. Police charged her with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A database search revealed a Branson Police Department warrant for the suspect. Arnold police booked the suspect and released her on bond.

June 19

Theft from the — An Arnold man, 38, faces theft charges after he removed items from the Salvation Army’s donation area at 2110 Tenbrook Road. Non-profit employees told the suspect, 30 minutes prior to arrest, to stop taking items. “Due to his persistence,” the police report stated, the suspect was arrested and booked. Police released the suspect on a court summons. 

June 18

Theft — a customer, at 3849 Vogel Road, reported missing $300 in cash and a credit card from her purse. The victim said she left her purse in a cart outside the store, left the area, then returned to recover the purse.

Stolen Vehicle, Recovered — an Arizona woman called Arnold police, said her father allegedly stole her vehicle on June 11 and that he was at 888 Arnold Commons Drive, hotel. Police found the vehicle at the hotel and learned police in Gilbert, AZ reported it stolen. Arnold police entered the hotel and arrested the Arizona man, 45. Police towed the car from Arnold Commons and called the victim to arrange its return to Arizona.

June 17

Stolen License Plate — A man living on Boca Raton Drive reported missing his motorcycle’s license plate while the vehicle was parked in his driveway between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

June 16

Soliciting, Selling Vaccums — Police issued a court summons to a Bunceton man, 19, after learning he attempted to sell vacuums, in the 2200 block of Cessna Drive, without a business license.

Theft of a Catalytic Converter — A woman reported her vehicle’s catalytic converter missing while it was parked in the commuter lot, near the intersection of Richardson Road and Vogel Road, during the business day. 

June 14

Church Damaged — A employee, at 2384 Starling Airport Road, reported a broken window at the church. About $500 in damage occurred. Nothing was disturbed inside the church, the employee said to police.
