'Enraged' Runaway Kicks Officer, Sets Off Jail Fire Alarm

Arnold Police Department supplied the following information for Monday's crime report. Arrests or charges mentioned in this report do not indicate convictions.

Here are a few of the crimes that occurred June 4 through June 5 in the City of Arnold. Arnold Patch obtained the accounts from the Arnold Police Department.

June 5

Stealing: An employee at  St. Louis Gutter and Siding stole $275.00 worth of scrap copper.

Stealing: A woman was arrested for stealing more than  $500 worth of jewelry and cloths at Kohl’s Department Store.

June 4

Stealing: A person broke into a residential storage shed on Ridgecrest Lane, by cutting the lock off and stole a chainsaw, weed eater and gasoline can valued at $235.  

Stealing: A man was arrested for stealing at Kohl’s Department Store.

Stealing: A person stole rims off a car on the Arnold Bowl parking lot valued at $871.

Resisting Arrest/Property Damage: A 12-year-old Imperial boy was picked up at Target as a runaway. While at the police station he became enraged, knocked over the Bond Mail box, kicked an officer, broke off the corner trim leading to the jail and set off the fire alarm.
