First Bank Bandit Yelled 'Go Cards' After Robbing Bank Friday

The man entered the Arnold Bank, approached the teller and presented a demand note. After taking the money, he left yelling "Go Cards!"

It appears Cardinal's Fever has struck everyone — even bank robbers. After robbing the First Bank at 3850 Jeffco Blvd. on Friday, the bandit left yelling "Go Cards."

The robbery occurred around 1:15 p.m. at the Arnold bank, said Maj. Nick McBroom, a spokesman for the Arnold Police Department. No one was injured in the incident.

The man entered the bank, walked up to the teller and presented a demand note, according to BanditTracker.com. After stealing an undisclosed amount of money, the man yelled "Go Cards" and left.

The robber, who did not show a weapon, is described as a white man in his lates 30s who is about 5-foot, 7-inches tall, the website states. The man had a full beard and was wearing glasses and a dark blazer over a dark top. 

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to a felony arrest. Tips must be submitted to Crimestoppers for the reward. The phone number is 866-371-TIPS.
