Five People Charged in Flamm City Fight

Numerous people charged with DWI during holiday week.

The Arnold Police Department provided the following information. None of it indicates a conviction or guilty plea.

Dec. 3

Stolen Trailer — A man reported a flatbed trailer missing from at Hwy. 141 and Astra Way, Arnold police said. The man said he left the trailer on the roadside.

Five People Charged with Assault — Arnold police charged six St. Louis residents with assault after responding to a phone call about a fight in Flamm City Park, located at Telegraph Road and the Meramec River, at about 2:30 p.m. Police charged two 17-year-old men, two 18-year-old men and a 52-year-old man with assault. Officers booked the suspects and released them on pending arrest warrants. Police also found a St. Louis juvenile with group, took the juvenile into custody and released the juvenile to a parent.

Driving while Influenced — Arnold police investigating a vehicle at in the 1400 block of Jeffco Blvd., charged an Arnold woman, 56, with driving while influenced after she left her vehicle on a parking lot curb. Police also arrested an Arnold man, 52, after he tried to move the vehicle from the curb. Both suspects were booked and released on court summonses.

Dec. 2

Marijuana Possession — During a traffic stop on Ozark Drive, an Arnold police officer charged an Arnold man, 19, with possession of 35 grams of marijuana.

Dec. 1

Shoplifting —  store security, at 3900 Vogel Rd., detained an Imperial woman, 30, for shoplifting. Arnold police released the woman, at the store, on a court summons.

Nov. 3

Prescription Forgery — A employee at 21 Municipal Dr. told police that an unknown person forged multiple prescriptions for the drug Plavix. The drug lowers the risk of strokes and heart attacks in patients, says the National Institutes of Health website. Arnold detectives investigated, arrested and booked a suspect, then released the person on a pending arrest warrant.

Nov. 29

Victim Dragged by Car — The victim, a 26 year old Arnold woman, said that while she stood near Lantern Light Court road that her girlfriend drove up to return a necklace. As the girlfriend drove away, the victim said her arm was caught in the vehicle’s window and she was dragged 25 feet. Arnold police said the victim was treated at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in South St. Louis County. The driver later walked into police headquarters and turned herself into police. Officers booked her and held her for 12 hours, police said. Arnold detectives are investigating.

Driving While Influenced — During a traffic stop at Interstate 55 and Hwy. 141, Arnold police charged a Fenton woman, 21, for driving while influenced. Police said the suspect had a blood alcohol level of .19 percent. Police released the woman on citations and to a sober driver.

Nov. 28

Vehicle Vandalized — A Plaza Way victim reported a broken driver’s side window and Kenwood dash radio missing from a vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle damage and missing radio are estimated at $470.

Leaving a Car Wreck —  Arnold police officers arrived at 901 Arnold Commons to investigate a car wreck. Officers said an Arnold man, 27, involved in the wreck fled the wreck on foot. Police found the man, charged him with fleeing the wreck and also arrested him on an unrelated St. Louis County Police Department warrant.

$1,500 Log Splitter Stolen — A employee reported a 20-ton Briggs and Stratton log splitter, valued at $1,500, missing from the business’s 3500 Telegraph location. The employee said the equipment was taken during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Driving on a Suspended License — Arnold police officers investigating a vehicle wreck at 1951 Richardson Rd. at 7:50 p.m. arrested an Arnold man, 20, and charged him with driving on a suspended license. Police also arrested the man on Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office warrants. Officers booked the suspect then released him on bond. 

Fighting, Gun Shown — Arnold police responding to a call of a fight at 888 Arnold Commons, the address for hotel, arrested two men from Hillsboro, a 28-year-old man and a 62-year-old man. Officers learned that a gun was shown during the fight and that one of the men attacked a third person with a metal pipe. Police booked the suspects then released them on pending arrest warrants.
