Flat Screen TV Walks Out of Walmart

Feb. 6

Neighbor Bit–Victim reports that at about 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 she was making contact with a neighbor when the neighbor’s dog ran up to the victim and bit her on the leg. Attempts to contact the owner met with negative results and city animal control was contacted for assistance.

Meth Lab Disposal-Officers were called to the Flamm City access for suspicious items in a trash receptacle. Investigation revealed the items were refuse from a meth lab. The narcotics unit responded to take custody of the items for proper disposal.

Walmart theftWalmart loss prevention reports they discovered on February 4 a white male entered the electronics department, removed a camera from the display, walked to the garden center where he removed the theft deterrent system and removed the camera from the box prior to walking out of the store without paying for the merchandise. The camera is valued at $629, and the incident was captured on the security video system.

Feb. 7

Gas and Go–A UGas Employee reported an unidentified white male driving a blue 2000 Mercury Sable, the subject failed to pay for $40.33 in fuel.

Feb. 8

Table Saw Lifted–Victim reported that unknown persons stole a Ryobi table saw valued at $400 from the bed of his pick up truck.

DWI–White male, 37 of Arnold, was arrested for DWI during the investigation of an accident. He later submitted to a breath test resulting in a .226% blood alcohol content. Following booking, he was released to a sober driver.

Feb. 9

Stealing TipsStarbucks Store employee reported that a white male entered the store and stole money from the tip jar on the counter.

8 Traffic Warrants–Officers conducting an investigation contacted white female, 19, of Arnold, who had eight traffic warrants from St. Louis County in the amount of $4000. Subject was arrested and released to St. Louis County.

Feb. 10

Flat Screen Walks–Officer responded to Walmart after a suspect left the store without paying for a flat panel television, two cellular phones and a duffle bag. Valued at $805. Upon being confronted in the parking lot by loss prevention, the suspect abandoned the property and fled the area in a maroon Ford Explore. Suspect was identified, and the investigation is on going.

Drug Paraphernalia–While on a traffic stop, contact was made with a white male, 18, from Imperial and white female, 18, from Barnhart. Subjects were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Feb. 11

Kohl's Shoplifter–Officer responded to Kohl’s for the report of a shoplifter in custody. A 20-year-old white male was taken into custody. Subject left the business without paying for clothing valued at $129. He was booked and released.

Feb. 12

Booked, No Bond Posted–Officer on a traffic stop took an 18-year-old white female, of Barnhart, into custody for an outstanding warrant. Subject was booked and held–unable to post bond.
