Furious at Being 'Cut Off,' Man Follows Woman to Target, Threatens Her

Read the weekly crime report from Arnold Police Department for August 8-10.

The Arnold Police Department released the following crime reports:

Thursday, September 8
A suspect spray-painted graffiti on the concession stand rear wall at the Arnold Athletic Association. Damage is estimated at $200.

Police arrested a 48-year-old Arnold man on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, a 25-year-old High Ridge man and a 31-year-old Thayer, MO, man on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested a 28-year-old Festus woman on suspicion of stealing from Kohl's on Michigan Ave. Store security observed her steal about $380.85 in merchandise, which was returned to the business.

Police arrested a 19-year-old St. Louis man on suspicion of possessing three illegal smoking devices after he was stopped for speeding. He was released on the scene on summonses.

Missouri Highway Patrol arrested a 21-year-old Arnold man who owed more than $900 in traffic warrents.

MIssouri Highway Patrol arrested a 27-year-old Fenton woman for a traffic warrant in Arnold and a felony warrant from JCSD.

Friday, August 9
A suspect stole two phone chargers and a stereo from a vehicle, causing damage to the dashboard, in the 1600 block of Harmony Lane. The property is worth $250.

Police arrested a 23-year-old Arnold man after a traffic stop at Lonedell and Pear Tree Lane because he had outstanding warrants. He was also wanted by Maplewood and Kirkwood.

Saturday, August 10
Residents in the 2100 block of Plaza Drive reported 15 windows broken on her mobile home. No one was residing there at the time.

A victim reported being threatened by a man who claimed her vehicle cut him off. He was stopped by Target store personnel near the 3800 block of Vogel Road from entering the store, but he continued to make verbal threats. When he left, he damaged the paint on her 2001 Mazda.

A suspect keyed a 2004 Chevy Silverado, causing $3,500 in damage, at Arnold Bowl around midnight.

Police arrested a 19-year-old Arnold man who attempted to flee from officers on foot after they responded to the 2200 block of Jackson Drive to respond to an intoxicated subject causing property damage.
